    Coach Alec is passionate about growing women’s hockey and inspiring the next generation of female athletes to fulfill their highest potential as an athlete on and off the ice. His dedication to the sport deepened when his young daughter began playing hockey, motivating him to create more opportunities for girls to develop their skills, build confidence, and embrace the game he loves. Alec’s mission is to empower players through skill development, teamwork, and individual growth in a supportive environment emphasizing athletic excellence. 

    Alec’s hockey journey began as a player in Los Angeles, where he competed at the AAA level and won a national championship under NHL coach John Cooper in the NAHL. After transitioning to coaching, Alec spent over 20 years running hockey organizations from B to AAA levels, guiding teams to USA Hockey Nationals and mentoring players at all stages of their development. He also worked as a Power Skating Coach for Robby Glantz Power Skating, traveling across the country to help players enhance their skating technique and elevate their game. 

    Now based in Wisconsin, Alec combines his extensive experience and passion for hockey to advance the growth of women’s hockey. As a certified Level 5 USA Hockey Coach, he is committed to developing skilled players and fostering strong leaders both on and off the ice, ensuring every athlete he coaches leaves with improved skills, newfound confidence, and a love for the game.

  • Ryan Glantz

    COACH

    With 15+ years of experience as a former player (NCAA, Junior A, New England Prep School) and as a skills coach, Coach Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every training session.

    Coach Ryan started coaching at the young age of 13 under none other than NHL skating and skills coach to the stars, Robby Glantz, who happens to be his father! Drawing from his extensive background, Coach Ryan has helped numerous players excel to AAA programs, prep school, and Juniors.

    Focusing on skill development, Coach Ryan works closely with each player to enhance their abilities and elevate their performance by tailoring programs unique to each player’s individual needs.

    POWER SKATING COACH

    As a former professional figure skater who represented Thailand at a world competitive level, Coach Nan understands what kind of dedication and push an athlete needs to accomplish their goals as a high performing athlete. Since retiring from professional figure skating, Nan found a passion in coaching not only figure skating but in hockey as an expert in developing and strengthening players in their stride, developing them to be a force on their feet.

    Coach Nan has found joy in partnering with her husband in developing powerful athletes. Together, they recognize the power in women’s hockey and are delighted to be a part in growing the sport as a family. And now, with the birth of their daughter who has grown up at the ice rink, they’re thrilled to have the opportunity to watch a new generation of young girls hone in on their athletic prowess on the ice, ready to lend a helping hand.

  • Kate Gilman

    FOUNDER

    Kate is the mother of four daughters; three of whom play hockey. Over the years, as she watched her daughters' passion for the game grow, she realized that she could help other young woman embrace the love of the game too. Recognizing the importance of nurturing female talent in sports, she saw a need to grow and focus on women's hockey. Kate created this camp to empower girl hockey players and increase their confidence as they pursue their goals and expand their skills. Her mission is simple and profound: to provide young women with the resources and support they need to excel in hockey. By focusing on empowering women in hockey, Kate hopes to inspire the next generation of athletes who will continue to break barriers and redefine the sport.
