I Dare You to Play Like a Girl

B&G Elite Hockey is a unique girls only hockey camp that allows the game to be the teacher. Our philosophy is based on education and training for girl athletes to reach goals that they may not even realize they have. Our mission is for young women to be mentored by older experienced players and then morph from the mentee to the mentor themselves over the years. Our camp will build confidence, our unique drills with our top notch coaches will build skill and strength, and our love and passion of the game will be felt throughout the camp.  

  • ELLA SHELTON

    Co-Captain - PWHL New York

    CAMP COACH

    Ella was drafted by PWHL NY 4th overall in the inaugural PWHL draft in September. She was recently named co-captain of the team. Ella has played for Team Canada in the last three world championships, receiving two golds and a silver. Along with an Olympic Gold medal at the Beijing Olympics. She’s from Ingersoll, Ontario and played NCAA Div 1 hockey with Clarkson University where she led the team with shots blocked. Ella is excited to join the B&G team and offer an amazing week of skills, drills, leadership, and mentorship to the girls.

  • JINCY DUNNE-ROESE

    PWHL - Ottawa

    CAMP COACH

    Jincy was drafted 17th overall by PWHL Ottawa in the inaugural PWHL draft in September. She was selected to be the player rep for the Ottawa team with the PWHPA. Jincy has played with Team USA at the last three world championships receiving two silvers and a gold. She also won a silver medal at the Beijing Olympics. Jincy is a defenceman and shoots left. She’s a 3-time All American and was Captain of the NCAA Div 1 Ohio State University team and won Female Athlete of the Year. Jincy runs her own girls hockey camp in St. Louis, OH and is excited to bring her years of experience to B&G in leadership, training, mentorship, and skill development.

  • JEREMY ROENICK

    Camp Co-Coach

    Jeremy Roenick was drafted 8th overall in the 1988 NHL Draft by the Chicago Blackhawks, who he played 8 seasons for. Jeremy then went on to play for Wayne Gretzky with the Phoenix Coyotes from 1996 to 2000. He then spent three seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, one with the LA Kings, and finished his career with two seasons with the San Jose Sharks. Jeremy scored 513 goals in his over 1300 NHL games played. He was inducted into the US Sports Hall of Fame in 2010 and posted over 1200 points in his NHL career. Jeremy is a huge advocate for women’s hockey and has run many camps in his retirement with the likes of Patrick Kane. He’s excited to be on the ice to support our coaches.
